Dear Humans,

Yesterday we played what I called “a paying attention game.” But for sure all games are paying attention games. Some people pay attention only when it’s their turn. But good players pay attention all the time. 

Because if you want to be really good at games, you can’t just know what’s in your hand. You have to figure out what’s in other people’s hands. And what’s in their mind.

Life is the same way. If you want to be successful, pay attention all the time, not just when it’s your turn. Because life isn’t about what you know; it’s about what you can figure out.
